Default Easy way to get extra heroes?

I want to use heroes, but I am not fan of Nightfall... what is the easiest way to grab some heroes?

I got 2 monks and 1 dervish, but I'd like some others... do I need to complete the main quest?

And staying on topic.. there is a good site explaining how to reach place A or B? I just don't know where to go to grab some heroes.

you should have at least 4 heroes automatically (Koss, Melonni, Dunkoro, Talkora), i assume you are not a NF character so getting either acolyte jin or sousuke should only take you about 10 to 15 minutes. get the quest on the sun docks in kamadan then just do the 2 parts.

I know you said you don't like Nightfall, but the easiest way, really, is to finish the game (just going from mission to mission doesn't take long) and take the very easy quests to get them all after you're done.

If you play through the primary quests in GW:EN you'll get a pretty good assortment too.

Razz has good advice for a "quick" hero acquisition though.

As far as going from place to place, go to gw.gamewikis.org and just type in the place you want to go. It should help you out.

Thanks for the help people.

At first I was planning to grab 3 new heroes but I guess a Necromancer (Spiteful Spirit) and a Elementalist (Deep Freeze + Savannah Heat) are enough.

I will keep one of the Monks. I was wanting to use Monk henchs but Mo/Me are good interrupters so I will keep then.

I got tempted to make a full archer team just for kicks thou. 1 Ranger player, 3 Ranger heroes, 2 Archers Henchmen and 2 healers.

Do you have access to the other games ?

The necro from LA in Prophesies or the Assassin from Kaining Center in Factions.
Either are pretty quick to aquire.

If you get the Eye of the North expansion, you get 3 lvl 20 heroes (monk, ele, mesmer) very quickly.

I find NF to pick up considerably once you get to the mainland. The starter island quests seem to take forever once you've done them a few times.

Getting from A to B

Either site should give you most of the basic info. Just search on hero or on the name of the hero you want to acquire. If you want to get to a certain place both sites have maps, and then you can do searches on the cities for special requirements (if any) to get to them, or to see what areas connect to others if you can't figure it out from just the map.

My main is a Sin and I am trying to avoid another in the group. I'd prefer to just use Koss as a 3rd man if comes to that due to better armor and some group buffs.

I am getting the necro thou (Olias).

The assassin isn't quite so easy anymore, remember they changed both Zenmai's and Olias's quests a few months ago.

The easist way is to play EotN. You get Ogden, Vekk, and Gwen in about 5 minutes of play. The other heroes follow pretty quickly after that.

Doing EotN quests will get you some heroes fast like others mentioned. Also fighting Bison will get you a couple more, most useful for me was the Ritualist that you can get.

They're unlocked for PvP use. So no PvEing with them if you unlocked them via balthazar faction.

You'll have to do the appropriate quest.
